Full-Time Unix/Linux System Administrator

at Systems Generators Philippines, Inc. in Manila

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
  • Must have 4-5 years of experience.
  • Thorough understanding of Unix operating systems and associated tools.
  • Practical experience of Cluster and virtual partitions is essential
  • Shell-scripting skills.
  • Standard office automation products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.).
  • Experience of supporting servers in an EMC storage environment.
  • Experience of middleware products such as Connect-Direct highly advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Server is desirable.
  • TCP/IP and networking experience.
  • Knowledge of Fibre Channel network and switches is desirable.
  • Practical experience of performance analysis and tuning.
  • Willing to work in Makati or Libis.
